Definition :

Acquisitions to the symbolic euro are capital assets, which the community is granted by a third party, with a financial contribution below the value of the property. These may be physical assets or financial assets.

The acquisition to the symbolic euro does not mean that the acquired property is worth one euro, the assets acquired in this context are recorded at their market value (value generally entered in the notarial deed). An acquisition to the symbolic euro must be translated into the accounts of the community by the credit of account 13, investment recipe, for the market value of the property decreased by €1 and augmented by ancillary costs and notary. In return, the debit from account 21 records the integration of the property into the community’s assets.

Procedure to be followed in accounting

This is a budgetary operation, so there is a mandate and title to be carried out by the authorising officer. A flow will therefore be emitted for this type of operations

• Emet a mandate to account 21X, for the amount of the fixed asset minus one euro
• Emet a recipe title to account 13X, either from account 131 or 133 if the asset received is depreciated, either from account 132, 134 or 138

Procedure to be followed in Salvia Patrimoine

• Creation of a property card for an amount corresponding to the market value of the property (plus incidental and notary fees) – €1
• Creation of a grant form with a notification corresponding to the value of the property. If the property is depreciable the subsidy will be resumed under the same conditions
